moana house felt like home - clean, comfy, and modern. sweet old lady at the gate. Lynn, the owner, was kind, responsive, and helped with everything. Secure, with hot showers and daily towel changes. Cheap food nearby. Lynn even helped with transport and found us local prices. Highly recommended!
Bed a bit hard.

I recently stayed at The Moana House for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and is situated in the heart of Saigon's lively lane ways. This allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local experience, with an abundance of street food stalls and restaurants right at my doorstep. The room itself was beautifully decorated, making me feel like a princess, and the owner's attention to detail was impressive. The refreshing smell of lemongrass oil and the availability of fresh water and useful amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location in the city center was perfect, and despite being surrounded by the hustle and bustle, the hotel provided a peaceful and calm atmosphere.
I do recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. The hotel is located in a quiet alley, yet there are many eateries and convenience stores around. It is also close to the airport and the bus terminal going to Cambodia. The staff were friendly and kind, providing excellent service from check-in to check-out.
Everything was fantastic.

I had a wonderful experience during my New Year stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, and the staff provided excellent customer service. They were kind, efficient, and spoke good English. Communication was top-notch, with quick responses to any queries I had. The location was strategic, with easy access to the airport and not too far from the city center. Plus, there were plenty of cheap food options nearby and a big market within walking distance. The hotel also offered free amenities like water, coffee, and tea, as well as a spacious kitchen for guests to use.
There were a couple of minor issues during my stay. The bed was a bit hard, which may not suit everyone's preference for comfort.

From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel like family by lending me slippers and an umbrella. The neighborhood was full of local gems, with delicious and affordable food options. The place was secure and clean, with a hot shower and daily towel replacement. The owner went above and beyond, staying up late to welcome us and assisting with scooter rental and finding local prices. The home itself was stunning, exactly like the pictures, and the owner was sweet and helpful. It felt more like a home stay than a hotel, with a comfortable room and modern kitchen appliances. The gate was a minor inconvenience, but the owner's kindness made up for it.

We were greeted by the most amazing lady who took care of everything during our stay at Moana House. She welcomed us with White Russians, ice-cold water, and delicious cakes. The hospitality was beyond our expectations. The room was quirky yet comfortable, and the entire house was spotless. We even got to enjoy a free coffee in the morning. The value for money was excellent, and we were allowed to keep our bags there after checkout without any hassle. I highly recommend this homestay.
